Description:
This internship is part of the Spring 2025 Professional Internship Program. To be eligible for the program you must:
- Be enrolled as an SUU student during the course of the internship.
- Have and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Be willing to work 10 to 20 hours per week.
- Provide thoughtful responses in your application.
Description:
- Work with SUU team to provide accessible content to Forest Service Partners
- Evaluate websites, documents, and software for Forest Service Partners.
- Support Forest Service partners by documenting meeting notes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional notetaking for various program and application development meetings.
- Complete Quality Assurance (QA) testing for FIA applications
- Complete Section 508 accessibility compliance testing, documentation and remediation research for FIA applications and documents.
- Apply critical thinking skills to problem solve and create new projects.
- Attend team meetings and provide updates.
- Prepare progress reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Must be a Full time student enrolled at SUU (preferably in the life sciences, multidisciplinary, or computer related field)
- Must be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills in person and in writing
